I had the pleasure of commissioning Josh for a recent project to design and construct a garden studio, and I can't express how happy I am with the final result. From start to finish, the entire experience exceeded my expectations in every way. I initially approached Josh with a unique challenge: designing and building a garden studio with specific features including cedar cladding, a flat roof, aluminium framed doors and windows, laminate flooring, electrics, and heating. The location of the studio within my garden was also quite unconventional in shape and slopes, making me sceptical about how it could all come together. However, Josh's expertise and creativity were immediately apparent. He took the time to understand my vision and requirements, and from the very beginning, he addressed my concerns with ease. The planning process was a breeze, thanks to Josh's exceptional communication skills. He provided detailed CAD drawings, discussed various material options, and even presented a comprehensive build plan that outlined each stage of the project and its associated timeframes. Josh was able to transform the awkward space in my garden into a larger internal floor area than I had originally imagined. As the construction began, I was continually impressed by Josh's professionalism and commitment. He managed to stay ahead of schedule despite the unpredictable weather, ensuring that each build stage was completed on time or even ahead of time. His dedication to quality in workmanship, materials, and timeliness was evident throughout the entire process. One of the standout aspects of working with Josh was his approachability and friendliness. I had countless questions throughout the project, not because I was concerned in any way or at any time, but out of personal curiosity and a desire to learn and understand the details of the build. Josh patiently provided insights and explanations that really helped my understanding of the process. Now I can proudly and confidently explain to people how the garden studio was built! Josh's attention to detail extended beyond the construction itself. His remarkable tidiness on the job site was outstanding. Each day, the garden was left impeccably clean, tools were neatly organised, and noise was kept to a minimum. This consideration even impressed my neighbours, who appreciated the pace and non-disruptive nature of the construction. When the garden studio was finally complete, every element of the project was executed flawlessly, meeting and surpassing my expectations. It was clear that Josh's passion for his work translated into an exceptional end result. Even after the project's conclusion, Josh's dedication continued. He swiftly addressed 2 very minor snags that emerged, ensuring that the studio continues to maintain its impeccable quality. Looking ahead, I'm excited to collaborate with Josh on future projects. His expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence makes him an invaluable person for any project.
